IN MY GARDEN I WOULD PLANT

In my garden I would first plant five rows of peas: Preparedness,Promptness, Perseverance, Politeness and Prayer. Next to them I would plant three rows of squash: Squash gossip, Squash criticism and Squash indifference. Then I would put in three rows of lettuce: Let us be faithful, Let us be loyaland, Let us love one another. No garden is complete with turnips: Turn up for meetings, Turn up with a smile Turn up with a new idea and Turn up with determination.

Our Senior Adults are encouraged to become a vital part of this church. To some a church is merely a building used for religious purposes. To others it is a human organization for mutual benefit or enjoyment of fellowship. Many look upon the church as a religious clinic where confused and disillusioned people get their personal problems solved.

The Bible standard of a church is a place of prayer where God is worshiped in the beauty of holiness. It is the temple of God, dedicated to His worship and His service.
The Church of the Nazarene in your community seeks to combine the best of all three. Although its prime mission is spiritual, it seeks to be a landmark for these who seek a community where not only worship, but Christian fellowship and evangelistic outreach are mutual concern.
