Below is Dr. Wilson's communication to the Congregation and Friends of College Church of the Nazarene regarding Pastor Kendall Franklin:
 
I am delighted to officially announce to you that Pastor Kendall Franklin, having received a 99% affirmative vote of the congregation last Sunday, and in prayer believing God is leading in this matter, is accepting the invitation of the people of College Church to be their next senior pastor. Congratulations!  I believe some wonderful days are ahead.  

Pastor Franklin will officially begin his ministry at College Church on July 7, with July 13 being his first Sunday with you.  I will continue working with the staff and the board of College Church on the summer transition pieces, and I believe we can continue to develop a strong, positive ministry in preparation for his arrival.

This is a time of celebration and anticipation. God is answering the prayers of College Church and honoring the hard work of the staff, board and others. He is faithful!
