JOLT Sunday Morning Small Groups:   A reason to get up on Sunday mornings and see what God is up to!  Jolt involves great teachers, awesome Bible lessons, and a great opportunity to grow deeper with your friends. 

 

Jolt meets almost every Sunday Morning on both Campuses:

University Campus :

LiveWire Junior High:  10:30- 11:30 A.M. in Room U-300 

Merge Preteen:  10:30- 11:30 A.M. in Room U-300

 

North Campus:

Merge/LiveWire:  9:00-10:15 a.m. in the Jr. High Room

Transformers--More Than Meets The Eye:   This group of  7-8th graders will be armed with the knowledge and competence to reach their peers and change the world.  We are being transformed!   Transformers meet almost every Sunday night at the University Campus from 6-7:30 P.M., beginning October 14, 2007.

 

                        Surge:   
                        Make Wednesdays memorable!  Through student-led worship, relevant talks 
                        and hilarious photo-ops, Jr. Hghers and Preteens  will leave encouraged and 
                        equipped to impact their world for Christ. Surge meets Wednesdays at the 
                        North Campus from 7-8:15 P.M..   

 

                        Hands and Feet:

Hands and Feet is a tangible way for Jr. Highers and Pre-teens to give back to God by serving him with their hands and feet.  Each month College Church Jr. High and Preteen Ministries reach out into the community to serve those less fortunate in the Greater Kankakee Area.

 

Projects:

 

The Box-A-Thon:  This October students will brave the elements and sleep outside in cardboard boxes to raise money for the Center of Hope Homeless Fund.

 

Soup Kitchen Servers:  Students serve at the Salvation Army Shelter.

 

Soup-er Bowl Saturday:  Students deliver hot soup, homemade Valentines and warm bread to shut-ins and the elderly.

 

Keep an eye out for how you can be the hands and feet of Jesus on a daily basis!!
