Fred Meadows

Fred Meadows began his ministry with us in March 2005 as the Pastor of Worship and Arts here at College Church. Fred has been worship leader in three previous congregations over the past 25 years. While his ministry has specifically been in designing and leading worship experiences for the church, Fred has also been active in teaching, mentoring and spiritual direction. He is a graduate of Anderson University with a B.A. in Church Music and has a completed the M.A. degree in Practical Theology from the School of Divinity at Regent University. He is currently a doctoral of ministry student at Asbury Theological Seminary studying in the areas of Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction. He is married to Pam and together have two children, Chad (21) and Chelsea (19). Fred enjoys chasing the little white ball around the golf course, reading, watching auto racing, being on a boat in the sunshine, and is a budding Cubs fan.

Deborah Bell

Pastor Deborah Bell, a member of the full-time pastoral team since 1999, serves as Pastor of Congregational Care. An ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene, Deborah has earned a Bachelor of Music degree from North Park University, a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary. Deborah is married to Dr. William Bell who served for many years as the chair of the Division of Social Sciences at Olivet Nazarene University. They both enjoy music, reading, skiing and traveling. They have two grown daughters, Jennifer and Suzanne. Deborah's love is serving in the local church, but she also shares with her husband a deep interest in missions and in the training of pastors overseas.
Donna Lagesse

Donna has been a part of the College Church staff since 1991. Currently, as Business Manager, she is responsible for taking care of the detail work of the Church’s finances. Some of her other duties that keep her busy are the work of risk management, payroll, and insurance policies. Donna is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with degrees in Office Administration and Business Education. She is married to Todd and they have three children. They reside in Bourbonnais where their children are very active in sports.
Allen Dace - Associate Pastor

Pastor Allen Dace leads the bereavement services, hospital visiations, and pastoral care. Allen recieved his TH.B., MCM and an honorary D.D. from Olivet Nazarene University. He is certified in Grief Reconciliation through Colorado State University and has had training in bereavement care through Grief Recovery Institute, RTS of Gunderson Lutheran Hospital and Association of Death Education Counselling. Before Allen retired from full-time ministry in 2003, he was a senior pastor for 35 years and served as District Superintendent for 15 years. He has been the associate pastor at College Church for three and a half years. He and his wife, Virginia, have 2 daughters and 5 grandchildren living in this area.

David Caudle -- Technical Director

David joined our team in August 2005 as Technical Director and coordinator of media-related events. Prior to his current position, David served as Assistant Audio Engineer at College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas. As Technical Director he is responsible for the technical coordination of all four of our Sunday morning services, our Wednesday evening services, the CD and radio ministry, and all special events taking place at both of our campuses. David also provides leadership for a technical volunteer staff of fifteen people.
Mike Morgan

As interim senior high pastor, Mike oversees the programming, planning, and communication aspects of the senior high ministries. Along with this ministry, he is currently an engineering professor at Olivet Nazarene University and has held that position since 1997. He received his undergraduate degrees at MidAmerica Nazarene University and Kansas State University. Missions trips to South America have taken him out of the country for the past five years. He has been married to Diana for the past 30 years and has three children, Diana (25), Angela (22), and Jared (16). In his free time he enjoys family activities, jazz, raquetball, golf, catching up on current events, and reading about youth culture.
Elizabeth Bjorling -- Junior High Pastor

Elizabeth joined our team in August of 2004 as the Pastor of
Preteen and Junior
High Ministries. She holds a Master's of Arts in Religion from Olivet
Nazarene
University. Elizabeth also recieved her undergraduate degree from ONU
with majors in Business Management and Marketing and a minor in Youth
Ministry . Before coming to us, Elizabeth served full time as a Youth
and Children's minister in Champaign- Urbana, IL. Some of her favorite
things to do include: keynote speaking around the country with a
Christian Middle-School Girls
conference organization called Future Identity of Teens, laughing with
family and friends, shopping for new shoes, telling cheesy jokes, being
a "lunch lady" at the nearby middle school, and catching a milkshake
with a group of middle schoolers!
Beth Bidle

Beth has served as Children's Pastor at College Church, overseeing birth through 4th grade ministries, since April 2006. Before her time here, she graduated from Olivet Nazarene University and was a children's pastor in Michigan and Oklahoma. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, watching movies, and practicing hitting a golf ball.
Sue Bergan

Sue Bergan joined the College Church staff in January 2005. Prior to joining our staff Sue was an apartment manager for Olde Oak and Reedy Apts. for 18 years. As Program Coordinator she is responsible for scheduling events for both campuses, working with our wedding coordinators and couples and updating our database. She is also an accounts payable assistant. Sue and her husband, Richard, have four children and four grandchildren. They enjoy long walks, boating and spending time with family and friends.
